Project Delivery Policy
Fast, secure, and purely digital. Here's how your final project files are delivered.

1. No Physical Shipping
Kalakar Guild is a marketplace for digital video editing services. As such, no physical products are shipped. All project files, drafts, and final deliverables are transferred electronically through the platform or other mutually agreed-upon digital methods.
2. Delivery Process
The project delivery process is managed through the project dashboard. Here’s a typical workflow:
- The editor uploads the completed video file(s) to the project page for the client's review.
- The client is notified that a delivery has been made.
- The client can then review the file, accept it, or request revisions.
- Once the client formally accepts the final delivery, the project is marked as "Completed."
3. Delivery Methods
While we recommend using the Kalakar Guild platform for all deliveries to maintain a record, editors and clients can also use third-party file-sharing services for large files. Common methods include:
- Google Drive
- Dropbox
- WeTransfer
It is the editor's responsibility to ensure that the download link is accessible to the client and remains active until the client has successfully downloaded the files.
4. File Formats
The final video file format should be agreed upon at the start of the project. The most common format for web use is .MP4 (H.264 codec). If the client requires project files (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve project files), this must be specified in the project brief and may come at an additional cost, as determined by the editor.
5. Delivery Timeframe
The delivery timeframe for the project is set by the client and editor before the project begins. Editors are expected to meet these deadlines. If any delays are anticipated, the editor must communicate this to the client proactively through the project chat.
